WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Leaders and Learners
Saintly values leadership and initiative over knowledge. We believe everybody has the ability to grow into dedicated learners. We look for the following characteristics in our tutors:
Understanding
In order to teach, you need to be able to truly understand. We want our volunteers to be so familiar and confident with their skill that they can explain even the most complex concepts as if they are simple. Our content should take difficult concepts and explain them simply.
Communication
Volunteers will be working in a large and collaborative environment. This requires coordination between groups, people, and responsibilities. We expect volunteers to be able to communicate with each other and work together to achieve a common goal.
Initiative
We aren't just looking for content creators, we are looking for dedicated members of the saintly team who can take initiative and grow our program. Tutoring is just one of the many responsibilities associated with working on Saintly, and we hope to get tutors who will actively contribute outside of their repsonsibilities, without being told what to do.
